You are invited to offer a presentation at the ODR 2018 Forum. In preparing your submission, please consider the two broad themes for the Forum, set out under the “Welcome” tab on this website: Innovation and Impact. The programme committee will need to take account of the “fit” of each suggested presentation.
Do please also note the three broad fields of interest for this Forum:
- ODR in the Courts and tribunals;
- ODR platforms and portals: professional, entrepreneurial and organisational developments;
- Digital access and wider networks: the emerging role of digital technologies at grassroots, indigenous and remote locations.
The format will be in panel presentations, with 15-20 minutes per presenter. Each scheduled panel slot will also allow time for contributions and 5 minute questions from the floor. Do please note that time keeping will need to be adhered to.
Following the Forum, and with the consent of the presenters, the presentations – typically in Power Point or Keynote format – will be archived on a Forum site.
It is possible, if there are longer papers accompanying presentations on ODR in the Courts and Tribunals, that these will form the basis of an edited collection (edited by David Harvey and Ian Macduff of the NZ Centre for ICT Law).
There will be opportunities, apart from the panel presentations, for those individuals and organisations who wish to “showcase” new sites or products, to do so at the Forum venue.
Submissions close 8 December 2017.
